Every June, Novi Sad becomes the hub of European badminton, welcoming the most promising young athletes from across the Old Continent. Officially recognised as the largest and most successful tournament under the auspices of the Badminton Europe Confederation, it gathers more than 1,000 participants. Competitors, coaches and officials from over 30 countries bring a spirit of unity and sports excellence to the heart of Vojvodina.
On the international stage, the prestigious Serbian U17 & Youth International Novi Sad proudly holds Grand Prix status. At the same time, at the national level, this sports manifestation is designated as an event of special importance for the development of youth sport. This prestigious status confirms the exceptional quality of its organisation, which continues to set new standards on the European sports scene year after year.
Five Days of Top-Tier Matches and Olympic Spirit
Over five tournament days, the most talented players aged 9 to 17 compete across all five Olympic disciplines. The “Slana Bara” Sports Centre becomes the arena for thrilling singles, doubles and mixed doubles matches. The tournament delivers high-intensity action, fast-paced rallies and outstanding tactical skills from young competitors fighting for valuable European ranking points.
