“Yunus Emre Calligraphy and Typography” Exhibition
Svilara Cultural Station is set to become a space where words transform into visual art, and languages build bridges between different cultures. The “Yunus Emre Calligraphy and Typography” exhibition will officially open on Monday, 18 May at 7 pm. Audiences in Novi Sad will have a unique opportunity to discover the aesthetic power of the Turkish language and the universal messages of the renowned poet and mystic through an authentic blend of traditional and contemporary expression.
A Blend of Cultural Heritage and Contemporary Design
This exhibition successfully bridges classical calligraphy with modern typographic solutions by graphic designers, representing a dialogue between traditional artists and contemporary creators. The exhibition is the result of long-standing collaboration between the Faculty of Fine Arts at Anadolu University and the Yunus Emre Institute. The implementation of this project in Novi Sad further strengthens the cultural ties between Serbia and Turkey. The “Yunus Emre Calligraphy and Typography” exhibition will remain open to the public, the academic community, and all art enthusiasts until 29 May.
