Novi Sad is playing host to the largest school sports event in the region. The jubilee 10^th Sports Olympiad of School Youth of Vojvodina (SOŠOV) takes place in the year when the city proudly holds the title of “European City of Sport 2026”. After more than five decades, this prestigious event returns to the city where it was first organised back in 1970, beautifully connecting a rich heritage with modern concepts of physical education.

This year’s Olympiad will gather around 6,000 primary and secondary school pupils from across Vojvodina, competing in 14 sporting disciplines, including athletics, swimming, basketball, gymnastics, and handball. Beyond the competitive spirit, the 10^th Sports Olympiad of School Youth of Vojvodina (SOŠOV) is dedicated to promoting unity, discipline, and healthy lifestyles. Novi Sad proudly supports an event that builds character and unites new generations of young athletes through the fundamental values of fair play.
