Open Studios Weekend and the “22 Steps through Petrovaradin Fortress” Exhibition

The “Likovni Krug” Art Association from Petrovaradin Fortress is organising an event titled Open Studios Weekend and the “22 Steps through Petrovaradin Fortress” Exhibition. This event offers a unique opportunity for residents and tourists alike to explore the artistic life of one of the largest art colonies in existence.

Meet the Artists in Their Studios

During the upcoming weekend, 16^th and 17^th May, from 12.00 to 18.00, visitors are welcome to tour 12 studios across the fortress. A total of 22 artists will open their doors, including Emil Bob Jr, Jovan Bob, Maja Erdeljanin, Dušan Savković, and other prominent creators. Direct interaction with the members of “Likovni Krug” provides a rare insight into diverse techniques and the creative atmosphere where works of fine and applied arts come to life.

Exhibition at the Likovni Krug Gallery

The central meeting point is the “Likovni Krug” Gallery, located on the Lower Promenade (Donje šetalište) in studio number 23 — formerly the studio of Mića Mihajlović. In addition to providing information about the open workshop locations, the gallery will host the exhibition “22 Steps through Petrovaradin Fortress”. The exhibition will also be open to the public on 18^th, 23^rd, and 24^th May, from 15:00 to 18:00.
