Novi Sad Comic Books Weekend

Comic Books Weekend Festival is dedicated to promotion of authors, publishers and festivals from Serbia and the neighbouring countries. The Festival is opened with an exhibition and presentation of authors with a comic book album that is standing out as published during the Festival year and presentation of the programme and guests, as well as with the opening of a theme (competition) Festival exhibition. It continues with the presentation of festivals from Serbia and the neighbouring countries, comic book magazines, publishers from Serbia and the neighbouring countries, Festival guest author (foreign author or author from the neighbouring countries and Serbia with an international reputation), alternative editions, festivals, magazines and underground comic books, retrospective editions of significance for comic book history, theory and critic. During the entire Festival the comic book workshops and school are held, young people are being introduced to the fundamentals of their methodology, works and editions.
