Exhibition: “Bolivia, the Silence of Vastness”
The photography series “Bolivia, the Silence of Vastness” was created in 2024 as a quiet dialogue between the camera and space – between the light of the Andes, the silence of salt, and facial expressions that remember more than words can convey. Bolivia, a land of contrast and rhythm, is not presented here as a destination, but as a feeling. On one side stands the cracked, parched earth, a bird in flight, and a lone cactus; on the other – a woman in prayer, a row of colourful boats like verses upon the water, or soulless mannequins amongst whom a real person smiles. All these scenes merge into a visual symphony of silence, where each photograph carries its own tone. These scenes did not seek the perfect frame – they waited for the right moment. A moment when the world does not pose, but speaks.
