International Festival of Innovation, Knowledge and Creativity – Tesla Fest
Every year on 12 October, marking Nikola Tesla Day and World Inventors’ Day, the International Festival of Innovation, Knowledge and Creativity – Tesla Fest commences. This event pays tribute to the legacy of the world-renowned scientist, aiming to further affirm inventiveness and the innovation economy. The festival brings together over 500 exhibitors, students, young talents and entrepreneurs from numerous countries around the globe, providing a direct platform for the commercialisation of new technologies and the establishment of business partnerships.
Tesla Fest Programmes and Accolades
Throughout the event, visitors can explore exhibitions of industrial design, patents and new products, as well as a display dedicated to the founder of the first patent factory in Novi Sad. A key segment is a professional conference held under the auspices of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), which awards prestigious accolades to the most successful innovators. Alongside the showcase of young talent, “Youth Innovation Potential”, and a ceremonial academy, the International Festival of Innovation, Knowledge and Creativity – Tesla Fest retains its status as a prominent scientific, economic and cultural event in the region.
