Fridays at TONS: Fruška Gora Linden Honey
The Tourism Organisation of the City of Novi Sad continues its traditional promotional series entitled “Fridays at TONS”. Every weekend, this programme showcases stories of local tradition, authentic flavours, and the hardworking people of our region. This Friday, the spotlight is on certified Fruška Gora linden honey, a brand with a protected geographical origin that serves as a vital pillar of the eco- and ethno-tourism experience in Novi Sad and Fruška Gora.
Meet the Beekeepers and Honey Tasting
Visitors will have the perfect opportunity to sample and purchase this unique product, as well as to converse with eminent Novi Sad beekeepers as part of the “Fridays at TONS: Fruška Gora Linden Honey” event. Željko Jovanović, Radovan Ćendić, and Neđeljko Zorić from the “Jovan Živanović” Beekeepers’ Association will reveal the secrets of a craft nurtured in this region for generations and highlight the health benefits of various bee products.
