Fridays at TONS: Dragan Kurucić Exhibition
The Tourism Organisation of the City of Novi Sad continues to showcase local creators within the inviting setting of its Tourist Information Centre. The latest edition of the series, titled Fridays at TONS: Dragan Kurucić Exhibition, explores the world of visual arts and mastery of the lens through the works of one of our most prominent photographers. This initiative offers both fellow citizens and tourists a unique opportunity to experience authentic artistry that celebrates the spirit of Novi Sad.
Bolivia, the Silence of Vastness: An Encounter with Distant Landscapes
The series of photographs on display was created in 2024 as a result of an artistic exploration of Bolivia’s landscapes. Through his work, Dragan Kurucić captures the specific rhythm of this land of contrasts, establishing a quiet dialogue between the sharp light of the Andes and the tranquillity of its vast salt flats. These photographs do more than just depict a geographical destination; they convey an inner sense of silence and the power of human expression that often eludes words.
Programme Schedule
Visitors can view the exhibition at the Tourist Information Centre premises starting from Wednesday, 13 May. The focal point of the programme is scheduled for Friday, 15 May at 18:00, when the audience will have the opportunity to hear the story behind the “Bolivia, the Silence of Vastness” series directly from the author. Through the Fridays at TONS initiative, the Tourism Organisation provides a platform for direct interaction between artists and the public, with dignity and quality content, thus further enriching the cultural offering of our city.
