Belgrade Dance Festival

For over two decades, the Belgrade Dance Festival has held its place as one of the most significant European and global events in the field of contemporary dance. As a festival that boldly pushes boundaries and sets high aesthetic standards, it brings the most eminent dance troupes, legendary choreographers, and rising stars of the global stage to our country every spring. Thanks to its visionary approach, audiences in Serbia have the privilege of attending productions that are otherwise only staged in the world’s most prestigious capital cities.
In addition to Belgrade, the festival traditionally shares a portion of its rich programme with Novi Sad, making world-class art accessible to dance enthusiasts in our city as well. The programme encompasses a wide spectrum of expression – from neoclassical styles transformed through a modern sensibility to avant-garde performances exploring the limits of human movement.
