KM Winery

When you enter the colony of private houses surrounded by orchards and greenery, before the turn for the Hopovo monastery on the main Irig road, you will come across the family-run KM Winery. This wine story arose out of love for nature, but also from commitment and devotion to a family where closeness and wholehearted support prevail. Although wine has been made in the Milosavljević family since the seventies, it was only in 2010 that the brothers Dušan and Predrag founded a winery and named it after their parents Klara and Miroslav. The Milosavljević family  planted all the vines on the windy, Vrdnik area of Krečan at an ideal altitude, where they carefully nurture the following assortment[1]: Rhine Riesling, Chardonnay, Blaufränkisch, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The offer includes: Rajnski Rizlin Ledeni, Merlot Stari, Rozi Roze, Frankovka List i Chardonnay Familija. These are varietal, young, fresh, light wines, pronounced aromas, made without coupage, from grapes from the family vineyard, of controlled quality and processing. Each of these wines carries a special story about the three generations of the Milosavljević family, and the labels also contain stories about the parents, the hockey passion of the brothers Dušan and Predrag, as well as about the youngest family members, Iskra and Nina, who “posed” in the Rozi Roze series of excellent rosé. Here, wine is not a luxurious drink only for the rich, but an enticing refreshment for all those ready to find a measure of their own enjoyment, which acquires a new quality and intensity if consumed in company.

The wines of the KM Winery have been awarded multiple times, and among the awards received in recent years are: The International Wine Challenge (AWC), 2018 (silver medal Chardonnay Familija, Rozi Roze, Merlot Stari, 2017, and bronze medal Rajnski Rizlin Ledeni, 2017); The Great Wine Evaluation of Serbia, 2021 (silver medal Rajnski Rizling Ledeni, 2020); The Great Wine Evaluation of Serbia, 2017 (silver medal Merlot Stari, 2016); The Great Wine Evaluation of Serbia, 2021 (bronze medal Rozi Roze, 2020); The Great Wine Evaluation of Serbia, 2017 (bronze medal Chardonnay Familija, 2016); BeoWinefair – BeoWine Challenge Cup, 2019 (gold medal Rozi Roze, 2017, and silver medal Chardonnay Familija and Merlot Stari, 2017), as well as numerous awards won at the local level (Irig, Rivica, Temerin, etc.).

The tasting room of the winery is under construction, but in the summer period up to thirty visitors can be accommodated on the spacious terrace, in the middle of powerful greenery and silence. According to the previous agreement, the program can include wine tasting and purchase with a presentation of wines and the winery, as well as snacks to separate the wines. Residents of Novi Sad and visitors to Novi Sad can taste and buy the wines of KM Winery in the “Vino & Vinili” Wine Shop on Žitni Trg.
