New York Times: Exit Among Top 5 Music Festivals In The World!

May 25, 2017

One of the most respectable world newspapers, the New York Times, the most read newspapers in the USA and winner of the record 117 Pulitzer’s Prizes, published the list of the best festivals in the world where EXIT found itself among the first five as equally ranked! This narrowest selection includes the largest world festivals, the English Glastonbury, Spanish Primavera Sound, Japanese Fuji Rock Festival, and Hungarian Sziget. The text emphasises the EXIT Adventure concept, which moves the festival after a magical fortress on the Danube bank to the Adriatic Sea, as one of its advantages. In addition to information that some of the greatest contemporary starts such as Wiz Khalifu, Ellie Goulding and David Guetta will perform at this year’s EXIT Festival, the Times also states in the description of its recommendation that those yearning for more entertainment should head towards a famous Jaz beach in Montenegro where the Sea Dance Festival is going to be held from July 14th to 16th. Sea Dance Festival has also found itself in the selection of recommendations of a famous British Magazine “Ministry of Sound” as one of the festivals one should by no means miss this summer. Stating that this year’s line up is lead by some of the greatest world stars of electronic scene such as Skrillex, Andy C, Jeff Mills, Black Coffee, Goldie, Lost Frequencies My Nu Lang, and Sister Bliss – Faitless DJ set, the British state in their text as follows: “Add a wonderful beach, affordable prices, and brilliant weather to such a programme and you will find a genuine pearl of entertainment”.

This year was also marked by other, numerous recognitions of the world media – CNN also gave its recommendation for EXIT Adventure stating that “EXIT is much more than music alone and its venue within a grandiose Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad makes the festivals held in open fields a little bit pathetic”. The British Guardian wrote that “this rewarded Festival has preserved its social mission supporting young people at the Balkans” while Daily Mirror asked a question: “Why wouldn’t you combine summer vacation with music festivals visiting the countries you have not been to before? It makes sense.” Daily Express wrote that “16 years later EXIT is still working with full power and this year’s offer is not for those with weak hearts!” Even the famous Italian edition of a prestigious “Vogue” Magazine stated short and clear: “EXIT is the institution of the world festival scene!” Clarifying the fact that EXIT was proclaimed the Best European Music Festival, the “European Best Destinations” concluded that “EXIT is unique in the festival world since it arose from a students’ movement with a strong mission to help young people at the Balkans”.

Today is the last day to buy the tickets for EXIT at an old price!
Due to an unseen interest, this year’s EXIT Festival, even a month earlier, filled 80% of its capacities.
