POP UP Salaš
Revitalising Tradition and Old Crafts
The POP UP Salaš event brings the authentic spirit of former Vojvodina daily life into the modern setting of the Komuna Concept complex. The event is designed to bring visitors closer to the traditional lifestyle and customs of old salaši (traditional Vojvodina farmsteads) through a variety of activities, craft workshops, and culinary offerings.
Workshops, Gastronomy and Activities for All Generations
The programme brings together guardians of tradition through interactive sourdough bread-making sessions, cooking homemade pumpkin jam and kitnikez (quince cheese), basket weaving, and natural cosmetics crafting. For the youngest visitors, farmstead games, creative workshops, and pony riding have been prepared, while the atmosphere will be complemented by performances of cultural and artistic societies, choirs, and live music. The POP UP Salaš event combines traditional values with a modern “Do-It-Yourself” (DIY) concept.
