Poezika

Poezika is the festival of regional authorial (original) music that affirms creative work of authors, singers-songwriters, and music groups with a special segment – competition for young talents that precedes the festival. Two competition winners are given the opportunity to open the concert evenings with their performances and present their art to a wider audience. Poezika bases its image on promotion of persistent authorial work, authentic lyrical-musical expression and performing skill. Selected performers from the region are presented, as well as singers-songwriters and bands, creators who cherish lyrical values equally as musical ones. The festival is accompanied by creative-educational workshops where co-operation between young talents and already affirmed artists and professionals is established. In addition to the above-mentioned contents, the Festival Poezika includes film showing, literary promotions and exhibitions.
