Novi Sad Film Festival

Novi Sad Film Festival is the first international competitive festival of first and second films in Novi Sad. The three-day festival is held at locations in the heart of the city. It brings current film productions by young directors, four competition selections, six off-program selections, and panel discussions on the future of the seventh art and new technologies – accompanied by a music program and guest appearances by some of the cult names from the film industry. Wishing to position itself as a new symbol of Novi Sad, the Festival is primarily aimed at young directors by encouraging their creativity and supporting their first and second feature films. In this way, awareness about film culture develops among future professionals in the industry, university and high school students, as well as the wider audience. Simultaneously, on the trail of its rich film history, Novi Sad is affirmed as a film-friendly environment.
