MigrArt

MigrArt presents works by contemporary artists, designers, and illustrators from several European Capitals of Culture: Bodo, Rijeka, Esch, Veszprém, and Novi Sad, who reinspect the history of migration in their countries, the changed official historical data, as well as the chronology and their personal experiences through these works. Going beyond the official historical background, works of art dealing with the complexity of migrations caused by the epoch to which the migrations refer will be presented. The topic of “migrations” is considered in relation to ancient and modern historical trends, in order to answer the question “How do you experience migrations?”

49 masts, 8 metres in height will stand on Suba’s Plateau. The attractive location in Liman Park will allow this “forest” of masts to be viewed at a distance but also walked through, while the actual content will be periodically changed so as to follow the For New Bridges programme narrative of the European Capital of Culture.
