“Što se bore misli moje” Painting Exhibition

The painting exhibition “Što se bore misli moje” (Whither My Thoughts Stray), by the multi-award-winning academic painter Jana Stojanović, presents a collection of monumental oils on canvas. The exhibition is hosted in the SKCNS Grand Gallery, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy virtuoso scenes of water and a contemporary painterly expression.
Art as a Pursuit of Tranquillity
In response to the constant modern imperative for speed and overproduction, the painting exhibition “Što se bore misli moje” offers a visual departure from everyday chaos. The central motif of the canvases is water lilies, which in the artist’s work symbolise resilience, delicacy, and continuous change. Through these subtle landscapes, the author invites reflection and a return to long-forgotten silence. Each piece represents a meditative space that encourages the observer to find their own inner voice.
