Chamber Music Festival in Novi Sad
In early April, the City Concert Hall will play host to the chamber music festival “Blisko!”. Under the artistic direction of Stefan Milenković, this festival brings together world-renowned names and celebrates the direct communication between artists and the audience through the most sophisticated musical forms. Starting at 8 p.m. each evening, the programme offers an extraordinary encounter with works that demand supreme interpretation and emotion.
Artistic Programme and World-Class Performers
The carefully curated programme of “Blisko!” bridges Romantic tradition, European Neoclassicism, and contemporary musical expression, affirming chamber music as the most intimate form of artistic communication. The first evening is dedicated to the works of Webern, Larsson, Bruch, and Vivaldi, performed alongside the Camerata Novi Sad orchestra. The second day features a gala evening of chamber music, including Ralph Vaughan Williams’ quintet and Richard Strauss’ piano quartet, performed by artists of international repute. Alongside Milenković, the stage will feature renowned performers with global reputations, further establishing Novi Sad as a significant regional centre for chamber music.
