Autumn Hiking Marathon on Fruška Gora
Active lifestyle and nature enthusiasts have the opportunity to participate in the traditional sports event called the Autumn Hiking Marathon on Fruška Gora. This event highlights the importance of outdoor activities and moving through the forested areas of the National Park, with all trails starting and finishing at Popovica.
A Choice of Three Different Trails
This year’s Autumn Hiking Marathon on Fruška Gora offers three routes tailored to different levels of physical fitness:
Fun Hiking (4.1 km): A trail with a 180-metre incline, designed for children and beginners, accompanied by mountain guides. The time limit is 2 hours.
Hobi Trail & Hiking (10.1 km): A route encompassing Kraljeva Stolica and the Zvečan spring, with a 470-metre incline. The time limit is 4 hours.
Sport Trail & Hiking (25.1 km): The most demanding trail with a 1,188-metre incline, intended for more experienced walkers and runners. The time limit is 8 hours.
Rules and Safety on the Trail
All routes are clearly marked with a white circle containing a red heart in the centre. All participants take part at their own risk, while minors must be accompanied by an adult.
