A1 Kinoteka Summer Cinema
This year, the A1 Kinoteka Summer Cinema brings a seven-day open-air film programme to Novi Sad, offering cinema lovers the chance to enjoy digitally restored Serbian classics.
Digitally Restored Classics for All Audiences
This project is realised by A1 Serbia and the Yugoslav Film Archive (Jugoslovenska kinoteka) with the aim of preserving the most significant works of national cinema for future generations and bringing them back to the big screen. To date, 44 iconic films have been digitally restored, safeguarding a vital piece of cultural heritage. Through the A1 Kinoteka Summer Cinema project, which has welcomed over 40,000 film enthusiasts across Serbia so far, these restored classics step out of the archives to become part of a shared cinematic experience once again.
Seven Nights of Film Under the Open Sky
Film screenings start every evening at 21:00. The line-up features cult titles by renowned directors such as Goran Marković, Živko Nikolić, Slobodan Šijan, and Kokan Rakonjac. In the event of adverse weather conditions, screenings will be postponed to the following day.
