On the slopes of Fruška Gora, where the grapevine has always yielded abundant fruit and excellent wines, Milan Pribić started wine production in 1959, and he handed over that business as a treasure to his heirs. Pribić’s grandson Ivan Trivanović, along with his father Dragan, with his constant love for viticulture and winemaking, with respect for tradition and modern oenological solutions, and understanding the needs of modern wine lovers, designed and organized Trivanović Winery (Vinarija Trivanović).
The vineyards of this wine house are located on fertile land on the Blaževac stretch in Erdevik, Berkasovo and Soto. The assortment of grapes[1] they decided on consists of: Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pea, Traminer, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz. The wines on offer include: Trivanović Pinot Grigio, Trivanović Optimus, Trivanović Sauvignon Blanc (barrique), Trivanović Sauvignon Blanc, Trivanović Rose, Trivanović Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve, Trivanović Cabernet Sauvignon, Trivanović Lex, Trivanović Chardonnay (barrique), Trivanović Reserve Shiraz and Trivanović Shiraz.
These are serious wines that will satisfy refined wine lovers with their quality and production programme. They contain all the features of the Fruška Gora terroir, which for the audience that chooses them, always means a proven exceptionality. Love for wines and dedication to work, but also the strength of a harmonious family are additional ingredients that make the wines of the Trivanović Winery stand out in the sea of good Fruška Gora wines.
This is evidenced by the awards, among which the most important ones, obtained in the last three years, have been singled out here: The International Wine Challenge – AWC Vienna 2019 (silver for Trivanović Reserve Shiraz, 2019); AWC Vienna 2020 (silver for: Trivanović Optimus 2018, Trivanović Pinot Grigio 2019, Trivanović Shiraz 2019, Trivanović Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 2017, Trivanović Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 and Trivanović Chardonnay (barrique) 2018).
The production plant, barrique and wine tasting room, as well as the space for stainless steel tanks of the Trivanović Winery are located in a spacious two-storey building, open to tourists with prior notice. The programme for visitors includes a tour of the winery with introduction to the production process, wine tasting and purchase.
The Trivanovićs are excellent hosts who know how to prepare a special experience in the wine tasting room, which is partly reminiscent of the living room of a large family. With excellent wines, Srem specialties that they make themselves (sausage, ham, bacon, “kulen”), Irig cheese, old rooster paprikash, specialties made of game meat from the nearby Vorovo, and Erdevik tamburitza players, an authentic experience to remember and talk about is easily created here.
