You can come to Antonijević Family Winery (Porodična vinarija Antonijević) in Ledinci to get the excellent “Лаца”, “Розми”, “Жупљанка Антонијевић” and “Пробус Константин” wines, for which I could testify, even if I were to be criticized for that, that it was my choice. Here you will see how the organized Fruška Gora estate has been subordinated to the tradition of grape growing and wine production for five generations, but also learn how the sufferings of Ledinci during the World War II changed the life of the Antonijević family who, like many other families, had to build a new home at the other end of the settlement.
Visitors will be interested in the unique wine cellar buried in the loess from 1963, which has not lost anything of its original shape and purpose thanks to the builders, the miners from Vrdnik. It still has an earthen floor on which tanks and wooden barrels with red, rosé and white wines are arranged in several rows. This is the space where wine tasting and shopping usually begins, and then continues in a spacious yard filled with flowers in spring and summer. You will also learn that the family vineyard is located in Ledinci, almost above the cellar, and that the assortment of grapes [1] consists of Italian Riesling, Župljanka, Vranac, Probus and Muscat Hamburg.
The winemaker and owner of the winery, Jovan Antonijević, will tell you a lot about the selected assortment of grapes, which is the basis for wines created on the experience of generations of ancestors in a way that the natural and harmonious ratio of ingredients always gives wines a recognizable colour, smell and taste. He is a winemaker who creates such a hedonistic perception among customers with the quality of this drink of the gods that they often return for new stocks. As he says, customers should be nurtured not only with the quality of the wine and the unique atmosphere, but also with the trust that you build along with it. And when he sells wine in slippers in his own backyard, the event is often not a simple one because it can happen that you meet interesting guests who are like you looking for wine hedonism outside of commercial weights, and in the end it all ends as a wine happening.
Individuals can come to the Antonijević Family Winery taking into account the working hours of the winery, while groups should announce themselves. Everyone is welcome.
