The Tourism Organization of the City of Novi Sad within the exhibition space of the Tourist Organization of Serbia presents the tourist offer of the city for the first time at the 44th The International Tourism Trade Fair FITUR 2024, taking place from January 24 to 28 in Madrid.
In addition to the Tourist Organization of the City of Novi Sad, the tourist organizations of Vojvodina, Belgrade, Subotica and Kraljevo, the tourist agencies KonTiki travel and Glob Metropolitan Tours, as well as the national airline, Air Serbia, also present their offer.
Novi Sad is a city holiday destination, with a very rich offer that includes the Petrovaradin Fortress, the urban city center, the Danube and Fruška Gora, a rich wine and gastronomic offer and numerous unique cultural and historical sites. In this regard, on the very first day of the fair, the tourist offer of Novi Sad attracted the attention and interest of visitors.
According to records, tourists from Spain are at the fourth place of visits to our information centers. These are mostly excursionists coming from Belgrade, so our future task is to devise the most creative and comprehensive offer possible and instead of a one-day excursion, extend the period of stay of tourists in our city and the surrounding area to two or three days.
The line minister, Mr. Husein Memić, attended the opening ceremony of the fair, and after that he visited the TONS stand.
A tourism fair is much more than a gathering place – it is a place to choose the right destination, a place of ideas, new encounters and new experiences. If morning shows the day, we can only believe that by the end of the fair we will have even more visitors, whose next chosen travel destination will be Novi Sad.
