During the first and second days of the Belgrade Tourism Fair, a large number of meetings were held at the TONS booth with representatives of foreign tour operators, who showed great interest in the tourist offer of the city and its surroundings. The largest number of interested tour operators comes from countries in the region, as well as from Germany, Turkey and the Russian Federation.

As this year’s emphasis is placed on the 20th EXIT Jubilee, as well as on the title that Novi Sad will take next year as European Capital of Culture, TONS booth also features representatives from the 2021 Foundation.  Also, representatives of the city of Nizhny Novgorod, the city of the twinned Novi Sad, presented the tourist offer of this region.

During the first day of the Tourism Fair, the TONS booth also held meetings with representatives of local media, as well as with other tourism organizations about joint promotional activities in the coming period.

The great interest of visitors is related to the gastronomy, cultural institutions, music festivals and other events, as well as wine tasting opportunities in Fruska Gora.

On the second day of the fair, the director of TO Novi Sad Branislav Knezevic signed a protocol on cooperation with the director of TO Uzice, Mr Danijela Djordjevic Arsic. The purpose of the signing of this protocol is to connect the two tourist destinations and to promote mutual cooperation in the field of tourism and culture through the implementation of joint promotional and project activities.

A special segment of cooperation will be the promotion of the tourist destination Novi Sad in Uzice and the promotion of the tourist destination Uzice in Novi Sad, which will contribute to the future successful and better overall development with all positive economic and other effects.
