On the occasion of marking the 143rd anniversary of the continuous work of the Red Cross of Novi Sad, a ceremony was held yesterday at the Home of the Serbian Army, where Red Cross of Serbia awarded these signs of recognition to prominent individuals who contributed to the development of the Red Cross of Novi Sad.
A total of 26 individuals were proposed by the Red Cross of Novi Sad at the end of last year, and the Managing Board of the Red Cross of Serbia unanimously supported all the proposals at the beginning of 2024. The director of the Tourism Organization of the City of Novi Sad, Branislav Knežević, is the winner of the Silver Sign, which represents a special honor and privilege in the previous mutual cooperation between the two organizations.
“It is an exceptional honor, privilege and encouragement to continue your work when you receive recognition from an organization such as the Red Cross of Serbia. Thank you to the Red Cross of Novi Sad for the nomination, because this recognition really means a lot to me and obliges us to nurture and further improve this great cooperation”, Knežević said on this occasion.
The Tourism Organization of the City of Novi Sad and the Red Cross of Novi Sad will certainly continue their successful cooperation in the period to come.
