Only a twenty-minute drive from the center of Novi Sad, at the exit from Rumenka to Kisač, there is Sašin salaš, where time seems to stand still, so their main slogan is “He who hurries, let him go about his way”. Already with the entrance through the wooden gate, you will be greeted by a landscaped courtyard, a smiling face of the owner Saša, and the greeting will also come from the bichon frise pup Lilika and Lenka the fawn. The large yard is home to many animals and is a kind of mini zoo, so you can get acquainted with different species of geese, ducks, pheasants and parrots, where the love that the owner has had for birds from an early age is recognized. In addition to animals, a playground has been designed for the youngest ones, while you can also come to the salaš with a pet who must be on a leash during their stay.
Homemade food is the main thread that adorns Sašin salaš, and if you decide to visit them on weekends, in addition to the mandatory reservation, you can also expect a menu that is the same for everyone. Sunday lunch consists of: soup, stewed meat, rindfleisch, main dish of three types of meat, side dishes, seasonal salad and homemade cake. In addition, homemade cured meat products and venison stew stand out as a specialty of the house.
By agreement, different types of celebrations can be organized. The number of seats in the hall is 90, while up to 100 people can stay outside.
