Čarda Mačak is a place to enjoy the shade of poplar trees and gastronomic specialties, all year round, especially in summer.
As a specialty of the house, there is a stew made of three types of boned fish (carp, catfish and silver carp), starlet and sturgeon. Every day, fish soup, stew and five to seven types of fish are on the menu, depending on what is freshly available that day. In addition to fish, guests can enjoy traditional treats – gombotz dumplings, schneenockerln, poppy-seed noodles and strudel.
By agreement, it is possible to organize all kinds of celebrations. Reservations are required for weekend visits.
The čarda has free parking for about 50 vehicles, and the capacity is 45 seats inside and 200 outside, in the garden.
The plan is to build a children’s playground where the youngest visitors will enjoy, but also five accommodation units with a capacity of 40 guests.
