Serbian Cup Quarter-Finals

Novi Sad once again confirms its status as a city of sport and world-class volleyball. All volleyball fans will have the opportunity to enjoy the excitement of the Serbian Cup as the battle for trophies intensifies and our volleyball players prepare for new major challenges. With a renewed and younger squad, built around players from the club’s youth teams, Vojvodina Mozzart enters the competition with clear ambitions and a strong desire to take the first step towards the semi-finals.

What particularly excites our home supporters is another opportunity to watch the team play in front of its home crowd in Novi Sad! Following the opening challenges of the season, the Red and Whites will face Karađorđe from Topola on Wednesday, November 4, at 6:00 PM, in the small hall of SPENS, in the first leg of the Serbian Cup quarter-finals.

Ahead of the match, during a press conference held at the club’s premises, head coach Siniša Gavrančić and player Matija Milanović highlighted the importance of this encounter, particularly in light of the changed competition format. The visitors arrive in Novi Sad following a series of good results, but with quality performances and the familiar atmosphere created by the supporters in the stands, our boys are determined to secure a victory. The second leg is scheduled for November 25 in Topola. According to the Serbian Cup regulations, aligned with CEV rules, if both teams record one victory each, qualification for the semi-finals will be decided by a “golden set”, played immediately after the conclusion of the second match.

This sporting spectacle represents an ideal opportunity for the people of Novi Sad to give their much-needed support to the team led by head coach Siniša Gavrančić. Home-court advantage and the familiar atmosphere inside the SPENS arena will provide crucial encouragement for our players.
