“Šargarepijada” (Carrot Festival)

Begeč is widely known for its product with geographically protected origin, carrots. In celebration of this, there is held event called “Šargarepijada” (Carrot Festival). Visitors will have the opportunity to taste various carrot products and enjoy various cultural and artistic events. The main attraction of the festival will be a roasted bull on a spit. To conclude the event, the program will be enriched by the music of a tamburitza players.
