Novi Sad Music Summer
The event called Novi Sad Music Summer is comprised of a number of concerts that are held during the summer. As it is the matter of summer concerts the efforts directed to designing a quality programme is fulfilled with the desire to make the programmes of somewhat “more popular character”. Thus, this cycle includes also the performances of artists who cherish quality music, the one that is not closely connected with classical music. In favour of hot summer months are the outdoor sites, which is anyway the tradition of summer festivals that are held in many cities outside our country.
Over seven evenings, at this year’s Novi Sad Music Summer, the audience will be able to enjoy diverse musical forms and genres: from trios to big bands, from classical music, jazz, and evergreens, all the way to French chansons, tango, soul, and pop. This year, special emphasis has been placed on local performers, artists whose achievements attest to the quality, strength, and diversity of the domestic music scene. Some of them, classically trained musicians, will also reveal their other, creative side through jazz, soul, and evergreen arrangements of well-known melodies, in new, inspiring arrangements.
Admission to all programs is free.
