NOMUS

International festival of classical music – Novi Sad Music Festivities (NOMUS) is held every year in April and it lasts for 7 to 10 days.  This festival has an enviable, long lasting tradition. Thanks to carefully selected programme and quality interpretations of famous artists, not only from our country but also from abroad, Novi Sad is the capital on the international music map every year in April, when the Festival is held. NOMUS was proclaimed the event of exceptional significance by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia and in 2012, it became a member of EFA (European Festivals Association) together with most significant festivals in our country. In January 2015, NOMUS was awarded the Prize of a renowned “Music Classica” Magazine in the category of Music Festival in 2014.
