Neo festival

NEO Festival (Non-classical Festival of Classical Music) takes place during the summer at multiple locations throughout Novi Sad, aiming to promote classical music in an extraordinary way, utilizing both open public spaces and enclosed venues. One of the prominent goals of this festival is the “Novi Sad Connection” project. This involves an orchestra comprised of the best young musicians from past and future European Capitals of Culture, as well as sister cities of Novi Sad. This orchestra will come to life, work, and evolve under the auspices of the NEO Festival. The NEO Festival is designed as a master class for orchestral musicians, young talents, and artists from across Europe, offering a unique form of education for the audience to enjoy top-notch performances of classical music pieces and lectures tailored to them. This concept, combined with new technologies, revitalization of spaces through stage and lighting effects, as well as mapping new areas with appropriate scenography, justifies its non-classical format.
