The Groovin’ Street Dance Festival

The Groovin’ Street Dance Festival, performed by the Groove Dance Association, features educational and creative activities, where young people learn in a fun way and apply what they learned, develop their creativity, boost their self-confidence, meet new young people and create a support system for a safe environment without prejudice. All activities are entwined by the theme treating the position of women in street dances and aiming to empower it, while the special attention is paid to Roma children and youth, the disabled persons, the LGBT community, the children from a Novi Sad drop-in shelter “Svratište” and SOS Children’s Village. The workshops will be led by national artists and international guests. The outdoor dance competition will take place in the Creative District, and the workshops at SPENS.
