Laza Telečki Day

Laza Telečki Day is organized in honor of this great name of Serbian theater, with the aim of drawing attention to his significance and contribution to the Serbian cultural scene, especially among young people who are frequent visitors to the street named after him. Laza Telečki was a theater actor, director, and prominent member of the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad. In addition to the exhibition “Laza Telečki” that adorns the street itself, there will be a lecture on the life, work, and importance of the first Serbian professional actor, as well as a fitting accompanying program throughout the day.
