From 16 to 21 September, the National Tourism Organization of Serbia, in cooperation with FlyDubai, is organizing a study visit for journalists from India.
At the end of May this year, we were also visited by TOS through a number of tour operators from Asia, including several from India, who showed a keen interest in preparing programs for their tourists when it came to visiting Serbia, which would certainly include and Novi Sad. This week, we were visited by reporters from prestigious Mumbai magazines (National Geographic Traveler India, Times Life, Stardust magazines, etc.), who were introduced to the tourist attractions in Novi Sad. During the tour of Novi Sad, journalists had the opportunity to visit the city center, the Petrovaradin Fortress, but also to enjoy the gastronomic offer.
With the abolition of visas for tourists from India, Serbia has created the preconditions to position itself in one of the fastest growing travel tourism markets in the world.
According to the latest data processed by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia this year, in the first two quarters, 77% more nights were spent by Indian tourists than in the same period last year. Also, in the summer, there is a higher number of tourist arrivals from India than last year.
