Exit festival

Exit is a multiple award-winning international summer music festival. It is held in Novi Sad every year at the Petrovaradin Fortress. Many consider it one of the best festival sites on the planet and it gathers more than 700 performers at more than 40 stages and music zones. Having arisen as a students’ movement during the year 2000, EXIT is still the only festival in the world that is the result of the desire for progress and striving towards freedom.

In addition to the title of the “Best European Festival” it won at the European Festival Awards in 2013 and 2018, EXIT was proclaimed the best European festival at the British European Festival Awards in 2007. All important media of the world wrote about EXIT and it was rewarded by the media magnates such as CNN, BBC, Time, The Guardian, The New York Times, The Sun, Daily Mail, The Independent, Euronews, and Lonely Planet.
Over the years, EXIT has hosted some of the greatest music stars from all over the world such as Pet Shop Boys, Billy Idol, Guns N’ Roses, Franz Ferdinand, Motörhead, Iggy Pop, David Guetta, Massive Attack, Faithless, Cypress Hill, Beastie Boys, Snoop Dogg, Wu-Tang Clan, The Prodigy, Sex Pistols, Kraftwerk, Korn, Moby, Arctic Monkeys, Chemical Brothers, Faith No More, LCD Soundsystem, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Pulp, Jamiroquai, M.I.A., Slayer, Ellie Goulding, Hardwell, Carl Cox and many others.
