Internationale Tourismus-Börse Berlin takes place from March 5 to 7 with a focus on business clients (B2B). The World Tourism Exchange, ITB, gathers numerous tour operators, hoteliers, tourist organizations, airlines (more than 10,000 exhibitors) on more than 160,000 square meters, so business visitors can find all the necessary information and get acquainted with the latest trends in tourism.
The Tourism Organization of the City of Novi Sad presents itself at the stand of the Tourism Organization of Serbia (Hall 1.1, booth 122) together with the tourism organizations of Belgrade, Subotica, Loznica, Novi Pazar, Western Serbia, the Lower Danube region, the Tourism Organization of Vojvodina and representatives of the tourism industry, the national airline company – Air Serbia, travel agencies – Balkan Roads, Robinson Travel & Adventure, Kon Tiki Travel and hotels – Hyatt Regency Belgrade, Mona Plaza Hotels, St. Regis Belgrade Hotel and Residences.
In the upcoming three days of the fair, the Tourism Organization of the City of Novi Sad arranged individual meetings with representatives of travel agencies, hoteliers and the media with the aim of presenting Novi Sad as a destination where tourists can spend three days (with suggestions for tours of Novi Sad, Sremski Karlovci, Fruška Gora and enjoying the local gastronomy and wines of the Novi Sad Wine Road).
According to official statistics, in 2023, around 8,500 German tourists stayed in our city, which generated almost 15,800 overnight stays, while around 700 Germans visited the info centers of the Tourism Organization of the City of Novi Sad. This points to the fact that Germany is a significant emissive tourist market, as well as to the importance of the participation of the Tourism Organization of the City of Novi Sad at the ITB Berlin Fair.
