Novi Sad is a city with a rich sports tradition, featuring numerous modern facilities that enable participation in various sports. The most famous among them is the Karađorđe Stadium, home of the Vojvodina Football Club. There are also Sports and Business Centre Vojvodina, better known as SPENS, Sports Centres Sajmište and Slana Bara, as well as numerous basketball, volleyball, handball and tennis courts. The city also has several swimming pools, fitness centres, athletic and cycling trails, suitable for recreationists and professionals alike. The sports infrastructure of Novi Sad is regularly improved, thus confirming the city’s status as an important sports destination in Serbia.

Karađorđe Stadium
The Karađorđe Stadium in Novi Sad, one of the oldest stadiums in Serbia, was opened on June 28, 1924 and is home to the Vojvodina Football Club. With a capacity of close to 15,000 seats spread over four stands, the stadium often hosts important football matches and athletic competitions.
Sports and Business Centre Vojvodina (SPENS)
Sports and Business Centre Vojvodina (SPENS) was opened on April 14, 1981 for the needs of the World Table Tennis Championship. Today, it is a multifunctional complex that includes two sports halls, swimming pools, an ice hall, martial arts halls (judo, boxing and wrestling), a table tennis hall, a bowling alley, a sports activity area, mini-golf courses, a shopping centre, galleries and an amphitheatre. The halls of SPENS are also used for dance competitions, music performances, various festivals and events.
Sajmište Sports Centre
Sajmište Sports Centre operates within the Sports and Business Centre Vojvodina, as a separate facility. It is a multifunctional complex that includes an Olympic swimming pool, a swimming pool for non-swimmers and a children's pool, with a total capacity of up to 3,500 visitors per day. Also, the centre includes a four-lane bowling alley, an air weapons shooting range, a prefabricated sports hall for football and basketball, as well as numerous outdoor sports fields.
Sports Centre Đačko Igralište
Sports Centre Đačko Igralište belongs to the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education and includes a sports hall with a large hall, a small martial arts hall and a gym. The centre also has a football stadium with a tartan athletics track and grounds for jumping and throwing athletic disciplines. The centre also has outdoor courts: two asphalt handball and football courts, two asphalt basketball courts, one court with a tartan surface for basketball and volleyball, as well as three tennis courts.
Slana Bara Sports Centre
Slana Bara Sports Centre is located in the city district of the same name. It is a modern sports complex of a more recent construction date, composed of two parts. In the first area there is a sports hall with handball, basketball and volleyball courts, while in the second area there is an indoor Olympic swimming pool, which can accommodate about 1,000 visitors per day.
Petrovaradin Sports Hall
Petrovaradin Sports Hall is a newly built facility, opened in October 2017. It consists of a main hall with a capacity of about 900 seats, with accompanying facilities such as a gym, locker rooms and technical rooms, and is intended for volleyball, basketball, handball, indoor football, martial arts and other indoor activities.
Futog Sports Centre
The Futog Sports Centre consists of a closed and open area. The indoor complex includes a sports hall designed for sports such as basketball, volleyball, handball and futsal. Next to the hall there is a newly built complex with two indoor swimming pools – Olympic one and children's one. The outdoor area of the centre has basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, as well as a children's playground and an outdoor gym.
Hram Sports Hall
Hram Sports Hall is located in Kać and was opened in 2000. It is used for handball matches and serves as the home court of the Jugović Handball Club. The capacity of the hall is about 2,000 seats, which makes it suitable for organising larger competitions and sports events.
Vujadin Boškov Football Centre
The Vujadin Boškov Football Centre is located in Veternik and was founded in 1973. It is one of the most modern football centres in Serbia, and in addition to the daily training of first team players and junior selections of FC Vojvodina, the national team trains here, and various clubs from the country and abroad do their preseason preparation here. It covers 85,000 m² of sports grounds and 3,600 m² of enclosed space. Within the sports centre there are five grass courts and 2 small courts, accommodation units for the players, a gym, a jacuzzi, a medical block and more.
RFK Novi Sad 1921 Stadium
The RFK Novi Sad 1921 stadium is also known as the Detelinara stadium because it is located in the Novi Sad neighbourhood of the same name and is the home ground of the Radnički Fudbalski Klub Novi Sad 1921. The complex has a main stadium with modern stands with a capacity of 2,000 seats, an auxiliary stadium and a futsal court. The stadium was reconstructed in 2024 according to UEFA standards and will feature younger selections of the national team, as well as the women's national team of Serbia.
FC Kabel Stadium
Located at the Novi Sad district of Liman, right next to the Danube and Štrand City Beach, this stadium is the home ground of the Kabel Football Club, one of the oldest in Novi Sad. The stadium has stands with a capacity of about 2,000 seats, an auxiliary court, a basketball and handball court.
