Sports and recreation along the quay

Novi Sad quay is not just a promenade. It is a dynamic space that reflects the recreational spirit of the city and its inhabitants. It is divided into three parts: Beogradski Kej, Kej Žrtava Racije and Sunčani Kej, and extends from the Danube – Tisa – Danube Canal (DTD Canal) to the Creative District and student dormitories. Stretching along the banks of the Danube, it offers numerous opportunities for sports and recreation. The entire length of the quay is accompanied by a pedestrian path, a jogging trail and a bicycle path, and there are also numerous basketball, futsal, bocce, and tennis courts, outdoor gyms, a mini golf course, and a children’s playground. In Limanski Park, near the quay, there is a skate park, suitable for activities such as skateboarding, BMX bike riding and rollerblading, but also for parkour and other outdoor acrobatic activities. Štrand, one of the most beautiful and well-developed beaches on the Danube, is located next to the quay.
