“Koliba” has been existing in Novi Sad since 2010 and it has captured all the affection of our fellow citizens. It can be found at two sites in the city, in Veselina Masleše and Stražilovska Street. They offer a wide assortment of pies baked below “sač” (a large metal or ceramic lid resembling to a shallow bell) filled with cheese, meat, spinach, zucchini, potatoes, champignons, chicken breasts, cherries and apples. They make tasty pies according to recipes of grandmas from the neighbouring Bosnia and Herzegovina. The dough is made without additives, it is moulded and baked manually, while the very core of authenticity of “Koliba” is that the pies are baked in a natural way, below “sač” on natural beech charcoal. The pies served here are truly of specific taste that is most similar to the one of pies made in Bosnia.
