The Gallery of Matica Srpska, was founded in 1847 under the auspices of Matica Srpska, the oldest scientific, educational and cultural society of Serbian people. Today, it represents one of the richest art museums in Serbia. The permanent collection exhibits significant artworks from the 18th, 19th and the 20th century and illustrates the origin and the development of Serbian Art of New Age, indicating the position of national culture in European context.
The Gallery offers a unique ambience for corporate meetings, conferences and similar events, where the participants have a chance to spend their time surrounded by original artworks.
