University of Novi Sad – The Rectorate Building

The University of Novi Sad Central Building – also known as the Rectorate Building – is a modern and multifunctional facility, located in the Campus of the University of Novi Sad. It lies on the edge of the University Park beside the Danube River, with a view of the famous Petrovaradin Fortress from the 18th century and in a short walking distance from the Novi Sad city centre.

The Building is one of the newest edifices on Campus, officially opened in 2013 and proclaimed as the most beautiful building in the city by its architectural design in 2016. It offers an array of possibilities for hosting different events, from conferences, congresses, symposiums, seminars, presentations, business meetings, exhibitions, corporate evenings, concerts etc. It has an already well-established reputation as a venue where many successful scientific, cultural and professional gatherings took place.

The main characteristics of the venue that spreads on 1,875 m2 include possibilities of multifunctional use, availability of contemporary equipment and technology, as well as optional organizational, technical and catering services. The Amphitheatre, Hall and the University Club are located on the ground floor and can be used as separate venues or combined. The Meeting Room with Orangerie and Terrace are on the second floor and offer a state-of-the art experience for guests that have the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive atmosphere with a view of the University Park, the Danube and the Fortress across the River.
