Anchored on the bank of the Danube exactly three decades, right next to the Sunčani kej, and yet situated far enough for everyone to find their own corner of peace, there sits Čarda Cesla. It is a place that attracts families, business people, citizens and artists, and the creatively painted façade leaves a strong impression, which is soon complemented by a garden overlooking the Danube and the Srem side of the city. The fact that more than 100 artists have held exhibitions here in three decades of existence also shows that the čarda attracts great attention of artists.
Fish soup and grilled river fish (catfish, carp, zander) stand out as the specialties of the house, while in the last ten years the tasting of fish specialties has been complemented by the wines of the Mrđanin Winery from Sremski Karlovci.
It is possible to organize celebrations by arrangement, and the capacity of the inner part of the čarda is 40 seats, while the garden can accommodate 60 guests.
Reservations are recommended on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, when the frequency of guests is increased.
