It is one of the most beautifully decorated pastry shops in Novi Sad that stands out with its garden filled with blooming tangerine trees, lemon trees, and orange trees and since recently they even managed to get fruit from their olive tree that grows in a pot. The scents of flowers, various kinds of cookies, as well as pastries, Turkish coffee and inevitable “Floating Islands” as well as Belgian chocolate simply lure you to come and visit this pastry shop. The pastry shop is made of “two units” – a modern and urban one as well as the one where you get the feeling as you if you have sat yourselves in some sort of a time machine.
However, the things that are the most precious in “Vremeplov” are the cookies and cakes that look so nice that you can feel their taste just by looking at them. They are soft and exceedingly delicious with true Belgian chocolate as a special ingredient that contributes to their authenticity. The most famous cake is called Mira Banjac and it is made of chocolate biscuit crust soaked in liquor and juice of fresh squeezed oranges. The second most favourite one is called Vremeplov cake, an authentic specialty intended for fans of marzipan with the addition of chocolate crème and brittle mass.
Vremeplov also offers exceedingly delicious lenten cake as well as a cake named Fräulein Lazin. There is also Torta gospođe Sofije (Lady Sophie’s Cake), made exclusively of figs, as well as an inevitable Vasina torta (Vasa’s Cake). However, if you prefer more salty tastes, you can come and order Vojvodina, Novi Sad or London breakfast. The Vremeplov has won 31. gold medal for his work on domestic and international competitions.
