Cooperation within the Network of Tourist Cities continued lately in Tuzla, with a series of activities aimed at promoting the tourist offer of Novi Sad.
The delegation of the Tourism Organization of the City of Novi Sad began its business meetings with a formal reception with the Mayor of Tuzla, Dr Zijad Lugavić. Immediately after that visit, there was a guest appearance by the director of TONS, Branislav Knežević, in the Afternoon Program of RTV7 Tuzla, and then a meeting with Amra Jaganjac, director of the Tourist Board of the City of Tuzla, the organization with which TONS signed the Protocol on Cooperation in March.
On the second day, TONS representatives were guests in the Morning Program of Tuzla Canton RTV, and after that, in the Ismet Mujezinović Atelier, the presentation of the tourism offer of Novi Sad was held for local tourist agencies and tourist guides. Emphasis was placed on several-day tours of Novi Sad and its surroundings, as well as on novelties in the city’s tourist offer. Media representatives also attended the presentation.
The Director of TONS assessed the visit to Tuzla as very successful and emphasized the importance of cooperation within the Network, as an extremely effective means of mutual promotion of tourist cities involved in this initiative.
