Fruška Gora offers a wide range of hiking trails, suitable for all nature and hiking lovers. From the challenging, multi-day transversal, through the trails of the famous Mountaineering Marathon, to easy Health trails perfect for family excursions, this mountain provides ideal conditions for recreation in nature.
The Fruška Gora Transversal is the oldest and longest transversal in Serbia. It is 165 kilometres long with a total of 5,562 metres of ascent and 5,542 metres of descent. It has two-way markers with a red and white triangle and has 32 control points. One of the ways to visit this transversal is through the campaign “Fruška Gora Transversal the Postman’s Way” organised by Mountaineering Association Poštar. The campaign is carried out every year, and the tour of the transversal is divided into 12 stages.

In the part of Fruška Gora that territorially belongs to the City of Novi Sad, there are several hiking trails, such as the Health trails on Popovica, Rubenov Krug (Ruben’s Circle) and the Educational trail on Iriški Venac, Zanatlijski Planinarski Put (the Craftsman Hiking Trail), the Trainee Mini-Marathon trail and many others. The trails have different markers, and local mountaineering associations take care of their maintenance. Some routes have treks that can be downloaded on the Fruška Gora National Park website. The part of Fruška Gora that gravitates to the city is well connected by city transport lines and the trails are easily accessible to everyone.

Trim trail
Located on the most visited Fruška Gora site – Iriški Venac, the Trim trail is available to both professional and recreational athletes. With its length of 5,500 metres, it is the longest trail of this type in Serbia. Its route goes through the forest, it is built of natural materials and enriched with content in the form of educational boards and 17 pieces of exercise equipment. The Trim trail also has a shorter option, measuring 3,300 meters.
