Horse Riding

As the city pulsates between the Danube and Fruška Gora, expanses open on its perimeter, ideal for recreational horseback riding. Field riding tours lead through the forest trails of Fruška Gora, through the glades and vineyards, all the way to the viewpoints from which the panoramas of the Danube and the plains extend. Riding here is not just movement – it is also the act of slowing down, observing, being present.

In this experience, horses are far more than means of transport. Their calm, strength and sensitivity create a special relationship with the rider. They feel the mood of a person, react to their voice, movement and breath. Riding requires silence, balance and trust – it is a kind of meditation in motion. For many, horseback riding is also therapeutic – it contributes to improving posture, strengthens muscles, develops coordination and focus. More importantly, contact with a horse and being in nature have a calming effect on mental health, reduce stress and encourage presence in the moment.

What makes this activity in Novi Sad special is the proximity of the Fruška Gora National Park, which provides an authentic environment for exploring from the saddle. Whether the rider moves through shady forest roads or gallops on hilly meadows, the feeling of freedom and connection with nature is unique. Riding here does not have to be a competition. It can also be an ordinary encounter with yourself, the sound of horseshoes on a dirt road, the wind in your face and the serenity that is rarely found. It is an opportunity to get off the asphalt at least briefly and ride the silence.
