“Zuzana Kardelis” Festival is the festival of Slovak amateur theatre ensembles with stagings that deal with the position and importance of women in a modern society. The winner of the Zuzana Kardelis festival acquires the right to perform at the “Aničky Jurkovičovej” Festival that takes place in the Republic of Slovakia, in Novo Mesto nad Vahom equally with all other performances from the Republic of Slovakia. The “Zuzana Kardelis” Festival is very important for the Slovak national minority because of its cultural, artistic and educational mission, as well as enabling of permanent contact with cultural scene of the native land.
