Hotel “Vojvodina” is the oldest hotel in Novi Sad, built in 1854. It is located in the city centre. During its history that is more than 150 years long it has been the centre of cultural, entertainment and political life of the city. The hotel got its present name in 1945, after the World War II. Since its construction, it has not changed its original appearance, and as a catering and tourist facility it has hosted many travellers and celebrities from public and cultural life, such as Laza Kostić, Miloš Crnjanski, Lajoš Zilahi, Duke Marko Miljanov and Prince Tomislav Karadjordjević.
