Rumenka Galantine (Aspic) Festival, the event of international character, is a traditional event with specific offer and great tourist potential. Galantine (aspic) portions for tasting are prepared during the Galantine Festival and so is the “galantine of galantines” that is 18 meters long. In addition to galantine preparing there is also the competition in horseradish preparation (horseradish was grown in this region during the reign of Maria Theresa already and the intention is to regain the old glow to this plant). The exhibitions of folk handicrafts and items, and sale of wine, “rakija”, “kulen”, sausages and other food products made in a traditional way are also organised within this event.
